Mission

The Marketing and Clinical Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and executing strategic marketing plans for the Italian organization to provide value to our customers, aligned with the company’s mission, while also creating relationships of high scientific level with the main clinical figures of the corresponding region.

Key responsibilities

 Main Tasks

  • Drives the local strategy for the different brands and maximizes sales turnover by setting clear direction through brand plans (strategic and operational plans)
  • Responsible for leading and executing impactful product launch
  • Develops a clear understanding of the Italian market potential, sources of growth and competitive landscape
  • Develops deep customer insights and translates them into effective brand positioning and promotional campaigns in collaboration with the sales team and clinical department
  • Specific responsibilities include: development of the brand strategy, promotional plan, product training, product forecasting and development of sales tools
  • Increase company’s global leadership position in the management of chronic wounds in Italy
  • Partner with the Clinical dept. for the organization of national congresses, Urgo Medical events, advisory boards and medical education programs.
  • Collaborates closely with key stakeholders to ensure commercial goals are met: sales team, market access, sales force effectiveness, clinical, finance, and the regional marketing team.
  • Stay connected with market needs through frequent interactions with customers (field visit)
  • Develop relationship with customers and key targets (scientific association, etc).

Abilities and experience required

  • Valid work permit in Italy.
  • University degree in Science or Marketing and Business qualification
  • Previous experience of around 3-5 years in marketing; medical device or pharmaceutical marketing preferred but not required
  • Good written and communication skills in English and Italian (must)
  • Demonstrated experience of product launch, growing brands with effective results.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional team
  • Working closely with all parts of the company to ensure commercial goals are met
  • Proven skills in the following: brand marketing, market and competitive analysis, customer insights, brand positioning, product launch, strategic plans
  • High analytical skills to identify and analyze market needs and trends
  • Orientation to results / sales
  • Able to work at all levels of the organization and with diverse stakeholders
  • Good presentations skills and mastery of Office tools particularly Excel and Power Point
