Experience Urgo internationally

Since 2011, the URGO Group has banked on international business in its development strategy. It now generates 60% of its turnover outside France.

Our presence in 20 countries through subsidiaries or strategic partnerships allows us to offer our staff a variety of career paths.

Mathilde Prost

Marketing Manager

The idea of gaining international professional experience has always been in the back of my mind. Joining URGO, a dynamic, innovative company with a strong international presence, was therefore the ideal opportunity to realise this ambition.

I joined the group in 2021 in the French market as Product Activation Manager. I managed operational marketing projects before having the opportunity to join the URGO Graduate Programme. As part of this programme, I spent a year in the field as a pharmaceutical representative, responsible for promoting our products to pharmacists. This commercial immersion was a key step in my career: it gave me a better understanding of the challenges in the field and anchored my marketing vision in the reality of business.

Following this very enriching experience in France, I seized a new international opportunity. I now hold the position of Marketing Manager for the Vietnamese subsidiary, based in Ho Chi Minh City. My role is to define the local marketing strategy and liaise between the head office and local teams in order to adapt and effectively deploy our campaigns on the Vietnamese market.

This experience is particularly stimulating: it allows me to develop skills in intercultural management, rapid adaptation to new environments, cross-functional project management, and decision-making in a fast-growing context.

Hugo Robin

Integrator of Nutriexperts

I joined Urgo Consulting in January 2021 to complete my end-of-studies internship, then joined Urgo Healthcare as Brand Activation Product Manager. I then became Executive Assistant to the Managing Director of Urgo Healthcare. Recently, I worked as an Amazon Specialist on the Urgo, Urgogyn and Humer brands. This prepared me for my current role as integrator for Nutriexperts, a digital native premium food supplement company based in Spain, recently acquired by Urgo Healthcare.

Based in Barcelona, my role is to lead the company’s integration into the group. I work on aligning teams and processes, structuring the organisation, and also on the business synergies related to the acquisition.
It’s a very rewarding experience and full of surprises. You discover new ways of working and a new culture, which pushes you to adapt quickly. And living in Barcelona is a real bonus: the city is dynamic and international, and I’ll never tire of running along the seafront! Take the plunge, you won’t regret it!

Benoît Giraud

Marketing & Medical Education Manager

I joined Urgo Medical as my first role after completing my studies, starting as a Customer and Market Insights Analyst, where I developed a strong understanding of market dynamics and customer needs. I then moved into a new position as Global Brand Manager for Healico, leading both marketing and product management for this digital solution designed to support healthcare professionals in managing wounds more effectively.

I later had the opportunity to join Urgo Medical Canada as Marketing Manager, and more recently evolved into a Marketing and Medical Education role, reflecting the growing need for stronger education in the Canadian market. Our philosophy, aligned with Urgo worldwide, is to identify gaps in practice and launch innovative solutions that challenge and elevate the standard of care, because the current standard of care is often not good enough. In this role, I combine marketing and medical education to support clinicians in improving wound care practices to better heal patients, working closely with key opinion leaders, associations, our amazing account managers and the whole Urgo Medical North America team. This has allowed me to learn from a highly experienced organization while actively contributing to the growth of the Canadian affiliate.

This international experience is incredibly rewarding, both professionally and personally. It allows me to learn a lot from high-skilled teams, adapt to new environments, and contribute to improving patient outcomes on a broader scale.

Mira HASSANALY

Head of Digital and E-commerce

Mobility is strongly encouraged within the Group. I joined the Group 14 years ago, starting by working for Laboratoires Juva Santé. I was then able to benefit from two international experiences: as Country Manager in Turkey and then General Manager in Belgium. In 2021, I left Belgium for a new challenge: setting up the “Urgo Healthcare digital tripod” team, working on developing e-commerce and new levers for digital activation.
