Candidate profile

The job holder will support the delivery of the Company’s key business objectives through the delivery of their key accountabilities as follows:

  1. To support the Senior Brand Managers (SBMs) in the definition, delivery and monitoring of the brand plans.
  • To quickly develop a comprehensive understanding of our markets as well as a strong understanding of brand performance and competitor trends.
  • Build strong relations with the salesforce (attend regular meetings and undertake field visits with members of the field sales team on a bi-monthly basis to maintain exchange of information, feedback, and to support them in delivering the brand plans).
  • Put all of the above into practice to support the SBMs in developing brand strategies and targeted brand plans and then support in delivering and monitoring these plans by agreed timeframes.
  1. To lead on delivering specific distinct project elements of Brand Plans
  • Specific projects agreed as part of the brand plans will be allocated to the Associate Brand Manager to lead on and deliver under the supervision of the Brand Managers. These may include comms campaign launches or development of event programmes or delivering specific marketing tools to allow the sales team to deliver on brand plans.
  1. To ensure continued management of urgomedical.co.uk and lead on digital comms for the marketing team (including managing social media plan)
  • Support ongoing management of the company’s WordPress website, including updating product and event pages, uploading content, and ensuring accuracy of site information.
  • Carry out basic web editing tasks (images, copy, links) and coordinate with external web developers for more complex updates.
  • Monitor website analytics (e.g., Google Analytics) to track performance and recommend improvements.
  • Assist with basic SEO updates such as metadata optimisation, keyword use and content tagging to improve search visibility.
  1. To manage the email communication plan for the business and to work with key stakeholders to grow the email database
  • Use CRM and email platforms to set up and send campaigns, ensuring audience segmentation and GDPR compliance.
  • Support list growth through event lead capture and online initiatives.
  • Assist in running A/B tests on subject lines, design, and messaging to optimise open and click-through rates.
  • Liaise with the wider marketing team and other key stakeholders across the business to plan and deliver an engaging and professional social media presence.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Qualified to degree level in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrable Marketing/Brand Management experience ideally in the medical or wound care industry.
  • Proven experience of managing professional social media accounts.

Skills

  • Working knowledge of WordPress CMS, with the ability to upload, edit and publish content.
  • Experience using CRM systems to manage customer data and run email marketing campaigns.
  • Understanding of email performance metrics and basic A/B testing methods.
  • Awareness of SEO principles and how to apply them to website updates.
  • Confident in analysing digital and market data to inform recommendations and strategy.
  • Strong project management, organisation and time management skills, with the ability to stay accurate and calm under pressure.
  • Proactive self-starter who can use initiative, propose solutions and deliver results.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including advanced PowerPoint.
  • Strong influencing skills, with the ability to inspire and support the national salesforce and build relationships with global teams.
  • Willingness to travel (both within the UK and to the parent company in France) and spend approximately 15% of time away from home.
  • Willingness to be flexible with working hours to ensure the achievement of key timebound deliverables and travel requirements.
