L'offre

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting financial reports with well-reasoned information to a range of audiences to support strategic decision making. Your ability to translate masses of data into meaningful management information coupled with extensive variance analysis experience is essential. Leading a team of two direct reports, you will deliver exceptional financial business partnering service to aid effective decision making, identify opportunities and maximise the management net result.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver accurate and fully analysed monthly management accounts with narratives for the Commercial and Industrial business units with extensive analysis on variances and margin evolution.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with wider business through quality business partnering in order to aid decision making, identify opportunity and maximise the management net result.
  • Support the Industrial team in stock management in order to maximise warehouse efficiency and mitigate out of stock or stock write off scenarios.
  • Drive the business’ Budget and Forecasting processes, collaborating closely Sales and Marketing in order to aid the Financial Controller to inform the UK General Manager and Group of the financial outlook at Business Reviews.
  • Oversee and scrutinise Industrial performance on Materials, Labour and Overhead in order to control and anticipate impact on Commercial Margin.
  • Aid the Financial Controller and Commercial Excellence team in analysis of Market Share and Sales Team activity to aid In-Market insight and decision making.
  • Working closely with the Contracts Manager to analyse and highlight pricing opportunities and areas for review.
  • Support the Financial Accounting Team by overseeing Accruals/Prepayments/Bad Debts/Fixed Assets etc to ensure reporting accuracy within ledger accounts in order to fulfil statutory requirements.
  • Close co-ordination with the HR team in processing of payroll and measurement of key HR KPI’s and accurate and timely calculation of company bonuses.
  • Support the Financial Accounting Manager with the annual audit process.

Profil du candidat

You will be a qualified ACCA/CIMA Accountant (or latter stages) with experience within the manufacturing sector. You must have demonstrable business partner experience as well as outstanding Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint abilities. Previous SAP/BW experience is desirable. You will have exceptional planning and prioritising skills to ensure delivery of key financial reporting deadlines.
