Urgo Ltd have an opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Hosiery Knitting Operative.

You will be part of a team manufacturing compression hosiery of excellent quality with the lowest waste and best value so that we consistently exceed our ‘On Time In Full’ delivery to customer target. The role involves working on Circular knitting machines and producing Preventex hosiery stockings. You will be responsible for monitoring the running of the machines and engaging in routine maintenance tasks, escalating any breakdowns or running issues to the Production Shift Leader and Hosiery Technician.

Profil du candidat

Previous manufacturing experience is essential however, training on specific machinery/equipment will be provided.

Modalités

This is a permanent full time position – 39 hours per week working. The successful candidate will be required to work a 3 shifts rotation. The 3-shift rotating pattern consists of: 6:00 – 14:00 (Days), 22:00 – 6:00 (Nights), 12:00 – 22:00 (Afternoons) and such additional hours as are necessary for the proper performance of your duties.
